Joint Air and Space Power Conference 2025 Concluded

The Joint Air and Space Power Conference 2025, held from 1–2 October in Essen, Germany, brought together senior leaders, policymakers, industry experts, and academics to explore the future of air and space power under the theme “Disrupting Dominance – The Future of Air Superiority?” This prestigious gathering examined how rapidly evolving technologies, shifting geopolitics, and lessons from ongoing conflicts are reshaping NATO’s approach to deterrence and defence in the air domain.

Through a series of keynote addresses, presentations, and moderated panels, participants explored the balance between affordable mass and high-end capability, the role of artificial intelligence and autonomous systems, and the need for faster innovation and deeper cooperation across the military, governmental, and industrial communities. Speakers emphasized the importance of adapting NATO’s command structures, production capacity, and operational concepts to meet emerging challenges in Europe and beyond.

The conference was an outstanding success, reaffirming the JAPCC’s role as a premier forum for constructive dialogue and forward-looking ideas. The JAPCC extends its sincere appreciation to all contributors, sponsors, and participants for their engagement and commitment to shaping a more resilient and capable Alliance for the future.
